Construction on SID 144c for Durango and Sunset Road, the two UNLV Harry Reid Research and Technology Park main perimeter roads, began in May 2009. Construction continues as scheduled, and is contracted for completion by February 11, 2010. The completion of the SID will provide Park tenants with two six-lane major arterials to the I-215 Beltway, which will provide Park tenants with a total of three direct access routes to the Beltway in less than a mile via the Buffalo, Sunset, and Durango exits.

The Park broke ground on onsite underground infrastructure in March 2010 with the $2M grant received from the Economic Development Administration (EDA).  The grant will provide funding for water, sewer, landscape, signage and roadway improvements primarily along Solutions Parkway, the Park's main thoroughfare. Phase I Infrastructure construction will be completed by the 3rd quarter of 2010.
